To help make that possible, I wrote and we received a Walmart Community Grant. Let me tell you, People, there's a whole lot more to Legos than when we used to get them for James in the last century!
As God's community, we're kind of like Legos, aren't we? We may look different, have different jobs, but we have one goal,to serve and honor Jesus by building up the faith.
11 And Christ gave gifts to men—he made some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to go and tell the Good News, and some to have the work of caring for and teaching God’s people. 12 Christ gave those gifts to prepare God’s holy people for the work of serving. He gave those gifts to make the body of Christ stronger.
Ephesians 4:11-12 ICB

2 Always be humble and gentle. Be patient and accept each other with love. 3 You are joined together with peace through the Spirit. Do all you can to continue as you are, letting peace hold you together.
Ephesians 4:2-3

In serving Christ, in serving others, the goal for union workers is growing into a fully functioning body of Christ. A body that is sustained, empowered, and grows in love. Like Legos, the more interlocking pieces combined for a common goal, the stronger the structure.
God wants us to grow up, to know the whole truth and tell it in love—like Christ in everything. We take our lead from Christ, who is the source of everything we do. He keeps us in step with each other. His very breath and blood flow through us, nourishing us so that we will grow up healthy in God, robust in love.
