There are some in my life who attribute this character flaw to me being a bit of a control freak. That may be true. See what you think.
I am so excited about our upcoming trip to Toledo over spring break. My sweet friend Brenda has been doing everything she could to arrange at least one outreach venue. Last week, we got all excited thinking it was going to happen at Brenda's former elementary school. We got all our ducks in a row, and .... nothing.
Not sure, if, when, how many kids, setting..... It's less than two weeks away, probably too late to order more books. Wait, it's not about the books in the first place, is it?
Then, Tom the tax man is trying to figure out how to complete and file our taxes since we are now considered a small business. Tom's really smart and very detailed oriented; that's what makes him good at doing our taxes, but a lot of this is really new and different.

James is making scones today and baking lemon cookies Friday, plus a few savory delights. I've washed dozens of teacups. Too few, too many?
Maybe it's time for me to put on the brakes. Perhaps, I need to spend a little less time dwelling on the who, what, when, where, and more time on being thankful for God's bountiful blessings on our minds and bodies that enable us to even consider Toledo, taxes and our tea.
Dear Reader, are you also overwhelmed at times by not knowing? Do you also need a road map with a well marked route, planned stops and reservations made? How do you maintain a balance between trust and preparation?
