Tom and I are so blessed to have the girls as frequent visitors. We're always on the lookout for fun things we can do together. We love and look forward to our Christmas dates. They are a tradition we've carried over with them from when Mary, James, and Rachael were younger.
Thanks to an Amazon box that just screamed "Santa's sleigh", extra rolls of wrapping paper and tape, it was okay when our date turned into a project.
It only took four or five redos (for Allie) to remember that toddlers and tape aren't not exactly a match made in heaven. The tape seemed to end up everywhere except where it was needed. Gracie got frustrated, and then thankfully got distracted from her task.
Things don't always turn out like we hoped or thought they would, do they? Esther's life sure got changed in a minute! One day she's a young Jewish woman, and the next she's literally getting the spa treatment before going to meet the king. Talk about winning the lottery!

For if you keep silence at such a time as this, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another quarter, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
Esther 4:14 RSV
We are confident that God is able to orchestrate everything to work toward something good and beautiful when we love Him and accept His invitation to live according to His plan.
Romans 8:28 VOICE

It's taken me a lot of years and a lot of crazy to actually take God at his word. Hundreds of years before the apostle Paul penned the words in his letter to the Romans, our friend, Esther, was actively placing her confidence in God's plan for her life.
It doesn't matter where you are, or how you got there. It's never too late to trust God to remix the pieces of your life into his perfect plan for you. Go ahead, Dear Reader, you can do it! You can trust God "for such a time as this". I'd love to hear how he turns your wild/wacky/weird into his wonderful.
