12 That is why the Lord says, “Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me all your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, mourning. 13 Let your remorse tear at your hearts and not your garments.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and merciful. He is not easily angered; he is full of kindness and anxious not to punish you.
Joel 2: 12-14 TLB
25 I will restore to you the years which the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you. 26 “You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you. And my people shall never again be put to shame. 27 You shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I, the Lord, am your God and there is none else. And my people shall never again be put to shame.
Joel 2:25-27 RSV
28 Then in those days I will pour My Spirit to all humanity; your children will boldly and prophetically speak the word of God. Your elders will dream dreams;
your young warriors will see visions.
29 No one will be left out. In those days I will offer My spirit to all servants, both male and female.
There was a time when I thought I could never be redeemed. A time of rebellion. But, Dear Reader, we are never too far for the Lord to reach us. His mercy is only surpassed by His grace in restoring us.
