Welcome to the
Holy Moments Experiment!
Being newly retired, I have the luxury of going to Walmart whatever day and time I want to. It's great shopping when the store isn't crowded.
And then God showed up.
During midweek shopping trips I began to notice lots of seniors also taking advantage of fewer customers. And I began to really pay attention to them. (That's unusual for me; I tend to be more of a kid person than an old person person.)
All of a sudden being tall became less of a nuisance. Now it was a tool to help others. I began to look for seniors who couldn't reach items on upper shelves or in coolers.
No big deal. A "holy moment" right there in the middle of Walmart. A fleeting moment of kindness given with no thought of thanks.
Dear Reader, have you found yourself smack dab in the middle of a holy moment recently? Were you on the giving or receiving end?
After walking away from the holy moment, did you pause and wonder who received the greater blessing? I'd loved to hear all about it!
