Don't you love being able to take care of all kinds of business remotely? Bill paying, grocery shopping, checking your kids' grades. It's great!

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. One year for Christmas a friend of ours received a DVD player. His excitement quickly gave way to disappointment. His tv was one of the first things he paid for himself as a young adult. Unfortunately, it was too old to have a connection for the DVD player.
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In our very electronic age, we typically don’t think of candles as utilitarian. Most of us have candles somewhere in our homes. We use them for decorating or fragrance, but have you ever had to use them to read by?
What a life, what an adventure I've been blessed to be a part of! Only Yahweh could have come up with such a script. And only now do I see His hand was always upon me.
36 He took a little child whom he placed among them. Taking the child in his arms, he said to them, 37 “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.” An elementary school where I served had a diverse student population. One year two children entered my classroom immediately after arriving in the United States, with almost no English language.
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Our daughter received a small rocking chair for her first birthday. Subsequent children used it, but it’s always been “Mary’s rocker”. Our granddaughter, Annalyn, used it for a couple of years, until she figured out she was a "big girl".
30 Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Am I the only woman who has struggled to find a stylist who can cut my hair and make it look good every time? Over the years, thick, curly hair has not always been fashionable. A good cut makes all the difference!
“Don’t think you have to put on a fund-raising campaign before you start. You don’t need a lot of equipment. You are the equipment, and all you need to keep that going is three meals a day. Travel light..." My family enjoys traveling. It took some convincing, but now my husband seems to enjoy flying to our various destinations as much as the rest of us. That said, something bizarre typically happens on our trips, by car or plane.
I’ve enjoyed the moon for as long as I remember. Maybe it started that Sunday night in July when the world gathered around their TV sets to watch the first man walk on the moon. I love riding at night when there is a full moon for me to immerse myself in!
