I was wrong.
I was angry. My heart was broken. Every day as I drove home from work, I either bawled my eyes out or screamed at the Lord.
I prayed and pleaded. I tried to seek sense in God's Word. Nothing seemed to ease my despair. It was no longer just my heart that was broken.
Create a pure heart in me, O God,
and put a new and loyal spirit in me.
Psalm 51:10 GNT
5 “I am telling you the truth,” replied Jesus, “that no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. 6 A person is born physically of human parents, but is born spiritually of the Spirit.
John 3:5-6 GNT
Jesus knew He was up against some tough crowds when He came to spread God's gospel. To the crowds who sought Him, Jesus wove commonplace things into analogies. The simple became the sacred in the stories of Jesus.
Men do not put new wine into old skin bags. If they did, the skins would break and the wine would run out. The bags would be no good. They put new wine into new skin bags and both can be used.”
Matthew 9:17 NLV
