It is better to trust in the Lord than to trust in people.
Psalm 118:8 ERV
Have you ever had the grandest plans for helping someone out, then your car broke down? Or maybe one of the kids got sick. Perhaps you didn't put the appointment to help in your calendar, and simply forgot.
For whatever reason, you dropped the ball. It doesn't mean you're a bad person. It just means you're human like the rest of us. (Gosh, that sounded sanctimonious, didn't it? Sorry, Dear Reader, I've certainly dropped my share of balls.)
For He knows what we are made of; He knows our frame is frail, and He remembers we came from dust.
Psalm 103:14 VOICE
I was still convinced Jubilee's stories were meant to be shared. So, I started doing a couple of things I do well: research and organization.
God’s way is perfect. The Lord’s promise always proves to be true. He protects those who trust in him.
Psalm 18:30 ERV
It was time to take a break.
And God is so incredibly patient with us. In His grace, instead of the slap upside the head we deserve all too often, He sometimes chooses to use velvet gloves to get our attention.
Followers of the Lord, trust in the Lord! He is your strength and shield.
Psalm 115:11 ERV
A couple of weeks ago, I was blessed to have my first consultation with Tawny, my rep from Christian Manuscript Submissions. The Lord had put the group on my radar a couple of years ago at the Colorado Christian Writers Conference, and by reading Michael Hyatt's blogs and books.
What a delight it was to chat with Tawny! I am so thankful God looked into my spirit, and provided a bounty of glad and encouraging tidings.
Two things I'm learning is that God wants our dream to be fulfilled far more than we do. And, Satan will do everything he can to thwart us, even well-meaning people and ourselves.
Blessings, sweet dreams, and glad tidings, Dear Reader as you pursue God's best for your life.
