For months, I've badgered and regaled you about attending my first writers' conference. And you, Dear Reader, patiently listened. Then you prayed.
From the moment I entered the conference, your prayers drenched me with peace and favor. Almost without exception, every encounter during the conference blessed me beyond words. (That's saying a lot for a writer!)
In a nutshell, a managing editor, an acquisitions editor, an agent, and a publisher (all from different publishing houses) told me to send them my work. What! Oh my gosh, Dear Reader, with each appointment my heart beat faster and lighter.
And now, Dear Reader, I must cut this very short so I can go put the finishing touches on my very first official book proposal. Please continue to be in prayer for words of hope to reach the just right readers. In the meantime, from my heart (and Philemon's) to yours...
4 I thank my God always when I remember you in my prayers, 5 because I hear of your love and of the faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and all the saints, 6 and I pray that the sharing of your faith may promote the knowledge of all the good that is ours in Christ. 7 For I have derived much joy and comfort from your love, my brother, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you. (Philemon 1: 4-7)
I'll be heading over to Crystal (Intentionally Pursuing) and Kelly's (Purposeful Faith) this week. Why don't you come on over?
