My fear of heights is so acute that the scriptural image of angels going up and down a ladder leading to heaven makes me break out in a cold sweat.
I'm not a fan of ladders. Oh, it's not because I'm superstitious. No, it's because I have many of the symptoms of acrophobia (fear of heights).

I like think of myself as efficient, a good steward of time and resources. Sounds good, doesn't it? Actually, I just need a good reason for doing things around the house. You know, like cleaning house or painting a room.
Tom did a terrific job painting the dining room, entry, and hall. He was patient and flexible getting old and new wall art arranged. But it took a surprise celebration for him to motivate me to get the kitchen painted and redecorated. Tom and I are blessed to live close enough for our granddaughters, Annalyn and Gracie, to visit us frequently. We're thankful for space that has allowed them to have their bedroom in our home.
Now Tom and I are in the process of getting our house market-ready to sell in a year. How do we keep things neutral and basically generic, and still have a room that's engaging for the girls? Dear Reader, are you a puzzle person? Do you like putting things together, filling in the blanks? Are you like me, slightly OCD, and make yourself crazy if just one piece is missing?
Dear Reader, have you been bitten by the decorating bug? Thanks to sites and shows, even someone who's never considered themselves "artistic" can get creative.
