What was I thinking? It's not like we don't have kings where I come from. What do I expect to happen?

Oh sure, they're terrific for carrying loads long distances, only needing to be refilled every six hundred miles or so. But don't startle one, or you'll be wearing a barf blanket... GROSS!
So, here I am riding a lumpy, tempermental beast, not exactly sure where we're going in this traveling circus. I'm thankful my homeboys are along, but I've stopped counting how many times I've asked God, "Why me, Lord?"
Why am I doing this? Why did I leave my comfortable home to follow a star? What's missing in my life that I can't find at home?
"Why me, Lord? Why did you choose me to see this amazing star? Why do you want to shake up my life?"
Why do we humans mean anything to you, our Lord? Why do you care about us?

Have you wondered why He would choose you? Have you wondered why He would ask you to risk everything you know for something you don't?
What could be more frightening?
