We're praying for a big turnout because for me, book sales translate into awareness and opportunities for reaching out to kids. We'll see what God has in mind. If you live in the Kansas City area, I hope you'll have a minute to stop by! (We'll be at the Barnes & Noble across from Independence Center, between 1:00 & 3:00.)
Thank goodness, in the midst of all this excitement, I'm teaching and extra day this week, having a couple of tutoring sessions, doing monthly grocery shopping, and Annalyn is coming to spend Friday night so she can be my special helper Saturday. Since the kids are coming to the book signing, there's a cookout afterwards. God sure likes to keep it real for us in the middle of wild and crazy, doesn't He?
I pray that you have had, or are looking forward to those "Is it Christmas yet?" times. What are you looking forward to? How do you keep it real in the middle of the excitement?
11 Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, a conviction of things not seen.
