Seriously! The minute they set one of their tiny feet in my kitchen, ants morph from a model community into a nest of pests.
Okay, okay, so it's probably not my confectionary appeal that's inviting invasion. This year's monsoon season has also invaded our house in the form of inches of rain in the basement. Lovely! Do you think the wet-dry vac would work as well on the ants as it does on the water in our basement?
Oh, and have I mentioned the swamp/jungle backyard? We're afraid to let Gracie, who's just learning to walk, off of the deck for fear she will fall into overgrown flora and we'll have to call 911. (Well, maybe it's not that bad, just needing a little extra TLC.)
Or maybe I remembered that what works for me in the face of frustration is to find the funny. What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Do you look for the humor in the situation? Is your weapon against woe chocolate, friends? How do you move past it?

6 You lazy people, you should watch what the ants do and learn from them.
